AIC Nyakinyua:
Transforming Communities through Discipleship
Challenge:
Rapid growth in Kenyan Christianity is often superficial, lacking deep discipleship. This leads to issues like insufficient training, poor governance, and a shortage of spiritual leaders. The Solution: This understanding led to the establishment of the World of Truth Christian Resource & Training Center (WoT CRTC) in January 2016. Mission: To equip men and women for effective Christian ministry through comprehensive training in theology, spiritual formation, and practical skills. Impact & Reach (as of 2023): 151 pastors and church leaders have graduated. 640 certified students in local churches. Established more than 20 branches across eight counties. Equipped over 30,000 people in various communities (e.g., Maai-Mahiu). This initiative represents a significant blessing to the community.
Vision (2025):
WoT CRTC aims to become an income-generating organization to sustain its mission of training pastors and leaders, emphasizing practical application and biblical literacy.
Expository Preaching Much of the preaching of our day is dry, irrelevant, and deadening. A large part of the solution is to be found in expository preaching.
Expository preaching expressing exactly the will of the glorious Sovereign allows God to speak, not man.
Expository preaching retaining the thoughts of the Spirit brings the preacher into direct and continual contact with the mind of the Holy Spirit who authored Scripture.
Expository preaching frees the preacher to proclaim all the revelation of God, producing a ministry of wholeness and integrity. Expository preaching promotes biblical literacy, yielding rich knowledge of redemptive truths. Expository preaching carries ultimate divine authority, rendering the very voice of God.
Expository preaching transforms the preacher, leading to transformed congregations. This is what Joseph is excited to teach on especially to Pastors and church leaders. My aim to help fellow preachers. If I can be used to help you reach your fullest potential in ministry, something will have been accomplished for the kingdom. Sermon preparations and delivery are two of the most fulfilling and frustrating experiences a man can undergo. I hopefully will help reduce the frustration and increase the fulfillment.

Under Pastor Joseph’s leadership, Hearts of Hope has expanded its reach through strategic partnerships with churches, NGOs, and community groups. Every initiative under Hearts of Hope is a reflection of his deep conviction that love in action is the greatest testimony of faith.
In response to the growing need for practical skills among youth in Kenya, Pastor Joseph founded the Word of Truth Technical and Vocational Center a transformative initiative based in Nakuru County. As the Founder and Director, he leads a passionate team that provides accessible, values-based education in areas such as carpentry, tailoring, information technology, and electrical installation. The center’s mission is to equip young people with the skills they need to become self-reliant, responsible citizens who can contribute meaningfully to society. Beyond technical training, the center also incorporates spiritual mentorship, character development, and life skills, ensuring that every student graduates with both competence and integrity. Pastor Joseph’s vision is to raise a generation of empowered youth who live by the truth and become agents of positive change in their communities.
